The Record
This site is for a voter who wants a straight answer. Where is he? Did he do the thing he said? What is on him, and what is not? It does not tell you to trust him. It shows the paper. The box under the name searches the scale, the orders, and the lines from TV.

What you can get from it
- 1Where he isEach row is one thing voters asked for. Moving means something real is already on paper. Held up means the next step belongs to a vote, a court, a war, or another country.
- 2Whether the words match the signatureThe Said tab is the line people remember from TV. The row under it is what actually happened.
- 3What is his, and what is notAn order is his. He can sign it alone. A law is not his alone. His party has 53 senators. Ending a filibuster takes 60. A court can freeze an order in a week. A war needs the other side.

Gas and groceries
MovingNot his alone
He opened drilling on day one and signed diesel-tax relief on October 5, 2026. Monthly prices still follow wars and the oil market.
The border
MovingHis pen
He signed the Laken Riley Act and a later border law. Crossings fell. A full wall and a deportation of that size take years of beds, courts, and money.
Tips, overtime, Social Security
MovingThe Senate
Tips and overtime deductions are law through 2028. Ending the tax on Social Security did not fit the 51-vote budget rules.
The wars
Held upNot his alone
He walked in promising to end them. Ukraine needs the other country at the table. A U.S. war with Iran has been going since late February 2026, and it now sits on the calendar.
Murder
MovingNot his alone
Killings kept falling, including through 2025. City police are not his to run, and the drop started before this term.
Fentanyl
MovingHis pen
He signed the HALT Fentanyl Act. The class-wide criminal penalty is now permanent.
Drilling
MovingHis pen
Day-one orders opened leases and exports. The price at the pump still follows the wars.
Tariffs
MovingHis pen
He put tariffs on as leverage, then rewrote them deal by deal, including an order in February 2026 that ended some of them.
Drug prices
MovingHis pen
He cancelled the last price program and started his own. A public list of cheaper drugs is the piece still in the agencies.
Schools and sports
MovingThe Senate
Orders on girls’ sports and DEI went out, and the 2020 Title IX rule was put back in September 2026. Closing the Education Department takes a law.
Voter ID
Held upThe Senate
The House passed the SAVE Act in April 2025. It is waiting on the Senate’s 60-vote rule. His side has 53.
Birthright citizenship
Held upA court
He signed the order. Courts stopped it. Birthright citizenship is in the Fourteenth Amendment, so a president cannot finish it alone.
Cutting Washington
MovingThe Senate
Jobs were cut and contracts were cancelled. A lasting cut has to be written into a budget law, which needs Congress.
Epstein files
MovingHis pen
He signed the release law after a 427–1 House vote. Millions of pages are out. The black boxes are the privacy and grand-jury rules inside that law.
JFK files
MovingA court
He ordered the release on January 23, 2025. The Archives posted the big set on March 18. What is left sits under a court seal, grand jury secrecy, and tax law.
UAP records
MovingThe Senate
He opened a White House file program, and the House put a disclosure board on the defense bill on July 22, 2026. The Senate has not taken that bill up. Members are home until after the election.
